The pottery wheel experience is a 40-minute class where you can learn pottery from an experienced instructor. During the class, you will have the opportunity to create your own ceramic pieces by working on the pottery wheel. It’s not just a simple demonstration but a hands-on experience where you will build and shape the clay yourself. You can create as many pieces as you like within the allotted time, and we provide an unlimited clay for your use.
Bogwangsa Temple was founded as a national auxiliary temple by Ven. Doseon in 894 during the Silla Dynasty. In 1388, it was further established by Ven. Muheuk. Although it suffered partial destruction during the Korean War in 1950, it has since undergone multiple restoration efforts, preserving its temple’s essence and bringing it to the present day.
Enjoy a healthy meal of wild mountain vegetables, including seven types of handpicked herbs, along with traditionally fermented soybean paste stew and traditional bibimbap.
